While I’m not religious, I am very spiritual and have regular “talks” with the spirit/energy from which we all come (I think it’s God, but names are just names and you can call she/him/it whatever you want). I believe that humankind was given the unique gift to connect to that root source. I also believe that if we would all put our collective consciousnesses together we could use that gift to make radical changes in the world. This painting represents my idea about how this works…all the dark negativity we have created in life goes into our collective consciousness, where the same spirit/energy that created us transforms it into light and positivity. My intent is that the energy I put out to the universe while I was painting it might enable you to see this, too.
