Changes is the shirt I wore while painting “November 13,” so named because it represents the day in 2023 when the weather where I live in Hawaii turned to winter. The original painting, and thus the feelings that created this painting, is a reminder that things can change in an instant and how appreciative we must be for the entire spectrum of our existence. One day things are warm and delightful, the next they are cold, stormy and frightful. One extreme can not exist without the other and therefore we must appreciate and be grateful for both.
