This image is the first of several Sunflower paintings I did while practicing methods of teaching decidedly non-artistic people how to paint. I was doing this as a social activity for my business networking group not long after Covid restrictions were lifted. I’d never tried to teach painting so I thought it would be fun. After spending the weekend painting I knew this would be asking way to much of the group but it started a fascination with painting sunflowers that I still pursue.
