November 13 was the day winter officially hit Hawai’i in 2023. November 12 was a stunningly beautiful day, typical fall weather for Hawai’i… 80º, sunny, trade winds.
But the next afternoon the heavens opened, we were deluged with rain, and the winds were blowing everything not tacked down into the next block. I was barely able to finish this painting, which, if you look closely, contain areas that were altered by the wind and rain blowing into my Carport Studio.
