Fractured was born out of frustration. I was trying so hard to break out of the confines of what had always been comfortable for me and I was feeling….well…fractured.
I had painted over this canvas multiple times but could not seem to make anything happen. I’m not sure what made me pick up the X-acto knife and start scraping away at the pigment, but as I did I noticed how good it felt. This was a break thru for me, following what felt good instead of what I thought was right.
Fractured comes framed as shown, wired and ready to hang.
