Up To You #2 is nothing but fun, intuition, and play.
I started by applying an initial texture to 3 separate wood panels, then joined them together and painted them as one large piece.
There really was no planning, I just turned on some fun music and started to paint – layer by layer – building up richness and texture until it felt finished.
Up To You #2 came easily once I realized that it isn’t necessarily up to the artist to tell the viewer what they are seeing. It’s only up to the artist to put their emotions and intentions into the piece. It’s Up To You to decide what it is you see or feel.
